After years of experimenting with various 3D printing processes, Dinsmore & Associates is pleased to announce the approval of FRSLA (Fine Resolution Stereolithography Apparatus) by the United States Patent & Trademark Office.
FRSLA is a process in which the UV laser beam of an SLA machine is refocused and concentrated down to .005’’ (0.0127cm) resolution or greater.
Additional coding provides the necessary data to control the build platform in corresponding incremental moves.
Dinsmore & Associates has worked closely with resin manufacturers testing and developing the necessary steps to coordinate a series of pre-programmed movements interpreted by the SLA machine.
FRSLA will provide industries such as: aerospace, medical devices, defense, dental, audiology, automotive, and consumer goods with 3D printed prototypes of the highest quality.
"Our customers require the finest detail and the highest quality, two things that we pride ourselves in delivering," said Jay Dinsmore, President and Chief Executive Officer at Dinsmore & Associates.
"Current methods just didn't cut it! We set out on a mission to explore current technologies and through many failures we achieved incredible success. FRSLA will change the status-quo of 3D printing," he added.
