Nylon 680 printed as a scaffold for cell growth.
Graphene 3D Lab Inc. has announced it has begun distributing Taulman 3D Nylon 680 filament designed for manufacturing applications in the medical and dental, food processing, and robotics industries.
Nylon 680 specifications are desired by industry users and hobbyists alike. The material is compatible with sterilisation procedures widely used in laboratory settings and has been approved by the FDA for indirect food contact.
Designed to have superior strength and physical attributes, 680's specifications are serious competition to consumer-grade materials currently on the market. Exclusive distribution rights for Nylon 680 are granted to Graphene 3D in the US, Canada, and Mexico, and are related to a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Taulman 3D which outlines both companies collaboration in the development and distribution of 3D printing materials.
"The sale of Nylon 680 in North America will allow Graphene 3D to expand upon a strong selection of specialty 3D printing materials being retailed via Black Magic 3D,” Graphene 3D CEO Dr. Daniel Stolyarov explained. “The high strength and sterilisation compatibility offered by this material makes it particularly exciting for a host of emerging applications, including in cutting-edge research environments."
Taulman 3D CEO, Thomas Martzall, added: "Nylon 680 combines great mechanical properties with unique features. Our team has worked hard to ensure that this material meets the specifications required by leading industrial players, and we are glad to now offer it commercially through the Black Magic 3D brand."
Nylon 680 3D printing filament is to be distributed on Graphene 3D Lab's web store and retail brand, Black Magic 3D.
