With five months to go, the inaugural formnext powered by TCT is already shaping up to be the must-attend event on the European additive manufacturing calendar.
Taking place in Frankfurt am Main, Germany from 17th to 20th November, the international toolmaking and additive technologies exhibition and conference will bring together leading names and international OEMs from across the manufacturing industry.
formnext will showcase the latest developments in emerging additive technologies and traditional toolmaking with industry heavyweights such as Alphacam, Arburg, Arcam, Concept Laser, EOS, Envisiontec, Materialise, Prodways, Realizer, Renishaw, Ricoh, Sisma, SLM, and Stratasys, set to take to the show floor.
In a special show, Audi Toolmaking will present its expertise as a global leader on the future of automobile manufacturing whilst Lamy, German producer of writing instruments, will demonstrate how its toolmaking capabilities have allowed it to become a market frontrunner. Other companies in the fields of materials, research, mechanical engineering, metrology, prototyping and post-processing will also exhibit.
"The additive procedures enable changes in product development and production and, therefore, influence numerous upstream and downstream sectors of the process chain," explains Sascha Wenzler, Vice President at Mesago and responsible for the formnext. "This is why formnext is just as interesting and inspiring for technicians and product developers as it is for technical procurement, managing directors, and proprietors."
In partnership with the TCT Conference team, which this year celebrates its 20th anniversary, formnext will also feature a packed conference line-up featuring industry thought-leaders and will deliver unparalleled insight into the current and future applications of additive technologies.
formnext will combine additive and conventional procedures to showcase the next generation of product development and manufacturing from 3D printing and conformal cooling, to the next era of tools. Leverage the industry expertise from both organisations, the event will provide visitors with a platform to network and gain valuable information on how they can leverage these technologies to become more competitive and drive their business forward.
formnext by TCT will take place in Hall 3 of the Frankfurt Exhibition Centre, Germany on 17-20 November 2015.
