MakerBot turns its attention to Europe with eight ServiceCenters.
After announcing it's very first European MakerBot Innovation Centre for the region earlier this week, MakerBot is turning its attention to Europe yet again with the launch of the first eight MakerBot Authorized ServiceCenters in selected locations across Europe to improve its customer service offering.
These MakerBot Authorized ServiceCenters will be a local point of contact for all MakerBot customers, addressing all customer calls falling under the new 12-month MakerBot Europe Guarantee and the new European MakerCare Protection Plan.
To gain the status of a certified MakerBot ServiceCenter, technical support experts underwent in-depth certification training at MakerBot Europe headquarters in Stuttgart. All technical support experts have proven experience within the MakerBot product range having served as MakerBot Resellers for a long time. Customers should expect quicker response and delivery times and local support from these new support centres.

The MakerBot Authorized ServiceCenters are located in Schimautz Ges.m.b.H. (Austria), KD85 (Belgium), Machines-3D (France), CadXpert (Poland), 3WAY d.o.o. (Slovenia), Ultralab S.L. (Spain), Alltron AG (Switzerland), 3bFab (Turkey).
If the program proves a success, MakerBot Europe may consider expanding its offering even further with more MakerBot Authorized ServiceCenters in European countries in the future.
In addition to this increased support, the MakerBot MakerCare Protection Plan - 24 Month Service Plan for Europe has also been released. This Service Plan is brand new and provides the highest quality service and support from the MakerBot specialists. The MakerBot MakerCare covers twelve additional months of European manufacturer guarantee and a free phone support for 24 months.
