Nano Dimension DragonFly 2020
Nano Dimension’s innovative machine, the world’s first Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) 3D printer, will be installed in the bank’s hardware development centre.
Nano Dimension Technologies has this week delivered a DragonFly 2020 3D Printer to one of the ten largest bank holding companies in the United States.
The wholly owned subsidiary of Nano Dimension Ltd, a leader in the field of 3D printed electronics, supplied the machine to the Fortune 500 company in return for a payment. Nano Dimension’s innovative machine, the world’s first Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) 3D printer, will be installed in the bank’s hardware development centre.
This most recent delivery of the DragonFly 2020 is the sixth in 2016 to a beta customer, meaning the company has met its targets for 2016, as presented to investors. In this instance, the beta customer conducts activities related to electronics and hardware development for the financial services sector.
Previous deliveries to leading companies from a variety of industries include PHYTEC, a leader in micropressors and supporting applications, an undisclosed US-based Fortune 100 multinational corporation in the technology industry and advanced additive manufacturing company FATHOM, which marked their first delivery of the printer within the US. Additionally, Nano Dimension has delivered one of the printers to a leading defence company in their home nation of Israel.
Nano Dimension’s beta programme involves the delivery of the company’s DragonFly 2020 3D Printers to leading companies and partners world-wide. The customers are pioneers of additive manufacturing technology’s entry into the world of electronics. Using the DragonFly 2020 machine the companies will look to speed up their product development times, among other possibilities. The printer also has the potential to strengthen the customer’s in-house innovation capabilities while providing them with enhanced R&D IP security.
Founded in 2012, Nano Dimension focuses on development of advanced 3D-printed electronics systems and advanced additive manufacturing. The company’s products combine three advanced technologies: 3D inkjet, 3D software and nanomaterials. Its primary products include the first 3D printer dedicated to printing multi-layer PCBs and advanced nanotechnology-based conductive and dielectric inks.
