BLT-S200 metal AM machine debuts at TCT Asia.
Chinese metal additive manufacturing systems’ developer X’ian Bright Laser Technologies (BLT) launched its latest industrial AM system at TCT Asia + Personalize 2016 today.
The new BLT-S200 is a Selective Laser Melting system aimed primarily at the medical and dental markets. With a build volume of 105 mm x 105 mm x 200 mm, the machine can process materials including aluminium alloys, titanium alloys, stainless steel, copper alloys and various other high-temperature alloys and is designed for the manufacture of custom metal products, lightweight structures, internal structures and functionally integrated parts.
BLT has been active in the metal AM sector for nearly two decades and is currently the largest provider of complete metal AM solutions in China. Along with this latest release the company's product portfolio includes laser forming and repairing machines and systems from leading AM machine manufacturer, EOS.

Complete with a full ribbon-cutting event, BLT was the first company up to showcase its new product on this year’s TCT Introducing stage in Shanghai, which will also act as the launchpad for new technologies from Trustworthy.
