Sigma Labs, a provider of quality assurance software under the PrintRite3D brand, has announced a commercial alliance with Morf3D.
The partnership has been made in a bid to deliver enhanced solutions for additive manufacturing to the aerospace and defence sectors. Based in El Segundo, California is an AM product developer specialising in high-level consulting and manufacturing services, including conceptualisation, optimisation, metallurgical examination, certification and data analysis.
Through this new partnership, and by leveraging the PrintRite3D software, Morf3D will be able to provide a means for customers to increase AM production rates while ensuring consistent part quality. The two companies have also made a commitment to manufacture certain 3D-printed parts going forward. Contracts already in-hand are expected to translate into substantial revenue for Sigma Labs in 2017.

By incorporating Sigma Labs’ quality assurance software Morf3D believes it can provide state-of-the-art parts for the aerospace and defence industries. Ultimately, Morf3D see this partnership as an important progression in the company’s bid to meet the growing demand of its clients.
