Autodesk Delcam Acquisition

Autodesk has announced the completion of its acquisition of Delcam, a leading global supplier of advanced CAM software.
The deal, which was signed off yesterday (February 6th), will see Birmingham-headquartered Delcam operate as a wholly-owned, independently-operated subsidiary of Autodesk, with no significant changes planned for Delcam's business.

Autodesk's leading 3D design, engineering and entertainment software has facilitated projects across a number of sectors worldwide, with clients in manufacturing, architecture, building, construction and media and entertainment making use of Autodesk's software. Indeed, Autodesk software has been responsible for no fewer than 18 Academy Award-winning visual effects projects.
