At RAPID, 3D Systems had 20 partners on the show floor and one of those was 3rd Dimension, a metal 3D printing service bureau which exclusively uses 3D Systems’ machines. Founder, Bob Markley spoke to us about how a background as an indie car engineer drove him towards 3D printing and the importance of driving the value of metal additive manufacturing for the next generation of the manufacturing industry.
