German machine tool and laser manufacturer, Trumpf was on hand at TCT Show last month to debut its TruPrint 1000 laser metal fusion system to the British market.
Designed for the production of small, complex components, this small laser metal fusion system is described as a true plug-and-play machine for the economical manufacture of individual parts, prototypes or short production runs.
“At Trumpf we made a strategic decision to invest in this technology after being active for more than 15 years in additive,” Daniel Lichtenstein, Business Development Manager at Trumpf commented. “Now is the time for us to really build up all the capabilities to bring production machines to the market. The TruPrint 1000 is the start, there will be a lot more to come from Trumpf.”
Daniel also hinted that we can expect to see a new Trumpf machine at formnext powered by tct next month as part of a complete additive manufacturing solution including software and materials.
