3DGence to launch INDUSTRY F420 3D printer
Polish 3D printer manufacturer 3DGence will be bringing its “next generation” high-temperature 3D printer to Formnext next week.
The new INDUSTRY F420 polymer extrusion-based printer is designed for the manufacture of end-use parts, functional prototypes, jigs & fixtures at high speed. With prices starting at around 49,000 EUR, the machine features a high-temp chamber for a stable print environment at up to 180°C and quick-change printing modules for compatibility with a wide range of materials such as ULTEM and PEEK.
Remigiusz Synowiec, Product Manager at 3DGence, said: “The high print speed is the key aspect of our industrial 3D printing process. 3DGence INDUSTRY F420 pushes the boundaries of printing speed for industrial 3D printers. With 1 m/s travel speed and printing speed up to 400 mm/s, it makes the machine a perfect choice if you want to cut manufacturing costs and print spare parts to dramatically reduce downtimes. This 3D printer is a perfect tool for quick production of end-use parts that can be used in final products.”
The INDUSTRY F420 boasts a sizeable build volume of 380 x 380 x 420 mm and a dual extrusion system for support material with purging device. For added safety, the machine also features an air filtration system. 3DGence has also introduced its first cloud-based platform for print management that allows users to monitor their progress, queue jobs, and schedule maintenance remotely.
On the software side, the company has announced an overhaul of its slicing software with SLICER 4.0, which enables quick access to print settings and a range of pre-defined material profiles.
Formnext will mark the commercial launch of the INDUSTRY F420 with first units scheduled to be delivered to customers in December.
