Added Scientific
Added Scientific - Education courses
Added Scientific will cover what it believes to be the most important aspects of additive manufacturing.
Added Scientific, an additive manufacturing technical services and consultancy company, will run six different public 3D printing training courses starting this autumn.
The first of the six courses provides an introduction into additive manufacturing and will be held four times between September and December. It will be followed by more in-depth offerings focused on Polymer Additive Manufacturing and Metal Additive Manufacturing in October and November, respectively, which will both last two days. Economics and Design will then be covered in late November and early December, before a course dedicated to the Future Developments will take place in 2018, provisionally set for January 17th.
Since its foundation in 2015, Added Scientific has supported companies with training and consultancy as they go about incorporating AM into their workflows. With this programme of courses, the company is aiming to cater for the growing demand for education within the industry, covering the most important aspects of the technology, as it sees them.

The six courses are open to anyone interested in learning more about how to use additive manufacturing.
Phill Dickens, the co-founder and Director of Training of Added Scientific, was joined by his peers in the devising and planning of the content for the courses. They were also the academic team behind the development of the Centre for Additive Manufacturing at the University of Nottingham and together boast decades of experience in additive manufacturing. Baring witness to its transformation from rapid prototyping technology to manufacturing tool, Dickens and co feel well-placed to educate and advise aspiring engineers and designers in the field of additive manufacturing.
