HP Jet Fusion 3D Printing Solution
HP Jet Fusion 3D Printing Solution
Matsuura, a provider of manufacturing machinery, has become an authorised reseller of the HP Multi Jet Fusion 3D printing portfolio.
The development represents a significant expansion of Matsuura’s additive manufacturing (AM) range. Until now, the only AM technology the company offered was the LUMEX Avance-25 and LUMEX Avance-60 hybrid laser sintering-CNC milling hybrid platforms. It also offers a range of CNC milling, CNC turning, and milling-turning combo machines, under its own brand and on behalf of the likes of Muratec and Toshulin.
HP’s growing Multi Jet Fusion brand was launched with the 4200 and 3200 platforms in 2016 as the company looked to capitalise on the thriving AM market. It established the Open Materials and Applications Lab, laid out plans for more than a dozen 3D Printing Reference and Experience Centres, and set up a comprehensive reseller network. In recent months, it has expanded its hardware offerings, adding the 4210 and 300/ 500 full-colour systems, and has also confirmed its intentions to move into the metal 3D printing sector.
The commitment from HP to establish a portfolio of solutions capable of use for short-run and dull production manufacturing, as well as prototyping, has enticed Matsuura to become an official reseller, offering the full range of technology for its manufacturing customers.
“The partnership with HP Jet Fusion 3D printing solutions perfectly complements our existing additive range, giving customers even greater choice to be part of this new era in manufacturing,” commented Roger Hawkins, Managing Director at Matsuura Machinery. “Our experience and knowledge in the additive manufacturing sector spans many years, so customers looking to explore this market can expect to receive high levels of support from our additive team. The HP Jet Fusion 3D printing solutions enables 3D printing to become a viable alternative to traditional production methods.”
As is the case with Matsuura’s subtractive machinery offering, customers of the HP 3D printing technology will be receive long-term support from the company’s AM Applications Engineers and Service Technicians.
Matsuura will feature sample parts from a HP Multi Jet Fusion system and the LUMEX hybrid machines in the 3D Printing & Additive Manufacturing Zone at MACH 2018, Stand H6-762.
