nTopology has opened an office in Regensburg, Germany to cater for its growing European customer base.
It marks the first international expansion for the New York-based company, which has recently brought to market its computational modelling nTop Platform software. The company’s flagship product has been developed to help engineers optimise the design process by incorporating generative, procedural and simulation-based design tools into one platform.
Having received significant traction in the European market, the company has now sought to establish a presence in what it believes is ‘one of the most manufacturing-centric countries in the world.’ nTopology is to embark on a three month tour of the production sites of some of its European customers, engaging with them to develop ‘innovative design and manufacturing solutions.’ In this time, the company will also exhibit for the first time at TCT Show later this month, while the tour will conclude with the German and North American teams joining together at Formnext in November.
“Large, global, enterprise-level manufacturing companies are adopting nTopology’s software to address engineering challenges and initiatives such as lightweighting, generative design and Industry 4.0,” commented Bradley Rothenberg, founder and CEO of nTopology. “Our expansion into Germany is the logical next step since that is the base for much of European manufacturing.”
“Our presence here will serve as an important resource to help customers realise increased product functionality, reduced development cycles and optimised designs for AM,” added new nTopology GmbH representative Fabian Grupp.
nTopology will be located at Stand E53 at TCT Show between September 24-26 and at Formnext between November 19-22, the company will be based in Hall 12.0, Stand B21.
