HP RPS partnership
RPS becomes the second UK reseller of HP's Multi Jet Fusion 3D printing package
HP has appointed RP Support Limited (RPS) as its second channel partner for its 3D printing technology in the UK.
RPS, founded ten years ago, will sell and service the HP Jet Fusion range of 3D printers and accessories to all industry sectors across the UK market.
It follows Europac 3D, who entered into a resellers agreement with HP back in May 2017. So far, the Crewe-based company has managed to oversee three deals, with the Manufacturing Technology Centre, Jaguar Land Rover, and Stage One all acquiring a HP platform – Europac 3D Managing Director, John Beckett, also told TCT of two more British companies declaring their interest in recent weeks.

With RPS now on board as a distributor, HP is looking to further capitalise on the growing interest in its flagship 3D printing technology. RPS has seen significant growth over the last decade, expanding from a partner in supplying materials, equipment and service contracts, to a now 22-strong team building and selling its own production stereolithography system, the NEO800, in addition to reselling 3D printing products of its partners.
HP becomes the latest of these partners, which also include ALM for a range of laser sintering materials, DSM Somos for SL materials, and Markforged for its carbon fibre desktop printers. The Multi Jet Fusion package is made up of the 4200/3200 printer, and a Processing Station with fast cooling capabilities. It was launched at RAPID 2016, and will be showcased at the TCT Show on Stand F22 later this year. The printer and processing accessory are said to high quality parts at high speed, with low cost-per-part in to the tens of thousands.
On the RPS partnership, Andrew Knowles, Business Manager for HP 3D Multi Jet Fusion for the UK and Ireland said: “We are extremely pleased to introduce RPS as one of our new channel partners. They have an excellent reputation in the 3D printing industry, as well as a strong knowledge of how our HP 3D printing technology will bring the best in class performance to both individual customers and within new markets.”
