The XYZprinting da Vinci Color AiO to be launched at CES 2018.
XYZprinting has announced it will launch a new 3D printing platform and a a new 3D pen, adding to its growing portfolio of products, at CES 2018 in Las Vegas.
The new products are the da Vinci Color AiO and the da Vinci 3D Pen Cool, while the da Vinci Nano system which was first announced in Vegas in 2017 will also be showcased ahead of its commercial release this summer. A full-coloured Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) machine, the da Vinci Color AiO is best suited to the production of prototyping for small business owners. Meanwhile, the da Vinci Nano is being aimed at newcomers to 3D printing, and will be bundled with an expansive software package, making it easier to pick up skills, and hoping to inspire creativity. The da Vinci 3D Pen Cool is a suitable option for children, enabling them to create 3D objects without having to operate a computer.
“For a very long time, 3D printing technology has been way out of reach for families and small businesses,” XYZprinting CEO Simon Shen commented. “Our goal with the new line of products is not only to make 3D printing cost-effective for everyone, but also provide casual users and small business owners the tools and confidence to try their hand at this technology and incorporate it into their everyday lives, whether at home or at the office.”
Expected to be available my mid 2018, at a price of $3,995.95, the da Vinci Color AiO boasts the ability to print in full colour and scan in full colour. Using CMYK inkjet technology, droplets of ink attach themselves to the colour-absorbing PLA filament, allowing the machine to create various colours. It has a build volume of 7.8 x 7.8 x 5.9 inches, a nozzle diameter of 0.4mm and is compatible with 3D Color-inkjet PLA, standard PLA, Tough PLA, and PETG. Bringing to market full colour 3D printing capabilities at an affordable price, XYZprinting is confident the new printer will be an attractive option for a plethora of small businesses.
