One3D installs NEO800 stereolithography system.
Czech Republic-based 3D printing service bureau One3D has invested in the NEO800 stereolithography (SLA) system from UK 3D print solutions company, RPS.
The family-owned service provider, which currently houses a range of SLA and selective laser sintering technologies, says it chose to invest in the NEO800 due to the machine’s robustness and RPS’s “passion for AM”.
Filip Dokoupil, CTO of One3D, explained: “If you have the real passion for something, you will not sell unfinished or malfunctioning products. NEO800 is a robust system with exceptional building volume, repeatable parts production and it covers all the shortcomings of previous SLA systems that you can see only after some days of everyday using. We have to also highlight Titanium software for operating machine because it’s very intuitive and simple.”
Developed and manufactured in the UK, RPS launched the NEO800 back at TCT Show in 2016 promising high quality, detailed parts. The open system features a large print volume of 800 x 800 x 600 mm and offers customers the ability to print with a wide range of SLA materials, including DSM, backed by RPS’s own intuitive Titanium software.
Director of RPS, David Storey, said: “We are thrilled that our NEO800 is now placed at One3D, a service bureau market leader within the Czech Republic. We wish One3D every success and look forward to seeing the positive impact the company will have in the industry and for their customers.”
One3D currently offers 3D printing, scanning and finishing services to customers in the transport, medical, food and metallurgical industries. Going forward, the company says it plans to build an additive manufacturing (AM) development centre in Mohelnice to serve a base for AM training workshops with customers.
Filip added: “Our mission is not only supporting Czech companies to AM thinking but also to show them how to implement AM in their production based on its advantages.”
