RP Platform has announced the launch of a new automation additive manufacturing software as it completes a brand name change to AMFG.
The developments come as the company continues its growth towards enabling part production with 3D printing technologies.
Its latest software product uses artificial intelligence to automate AM production, allowing users to make use of printability analyses, machine analytics and automation of scheduling and post-processing. The company believes the release of this product to market represents a breakthrough in manufacturing, working to combat manual and unscalable production processes.
“While 3D printing has the potential to transform manufacturing, we’ve seen the lack of a scalable production process as a key barrier,” Keyvan Karimi, CEO of AMFG commented. “Our software closes this gap by incorporating machine learning algorithms to provide an end-to-end solution for the AM production process.”
Under its previous branding, AMFG has become an established name in the field of AM software, selling to customers in more than 30 countries. Many operate in industries such as automotive, consumer goods and education, and although there’s a change of name, the service is remaining much the same. AMFG has promised more releases to its software in the coming months that will further improve its production automation capabilities. The company says it wants to help its clients manufacture more parts, with greater traceability, efficiency, and visibility, as well as with less effort. Its new software also offers custom ERP and PLM integrations.
“Ultimately, we’re creating a truly autonomous manufacturing process for industrial 3D printing,” Karimi summed up. “For us, this means taking manufacturing to a new era of digitalised production. The launch of our new software, as well as our company rebrand, fully reflects this vision going forward.”
