3D Systems announces iSense for iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.
3D Systems is making its iSense 3D Scanner more portable than ever by making it available for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
iSense as been designed with an exclusive 3D printed case from Cubify so that users can easily snap the scanner onto their phone for improved portable scanning.
The announcement comes with a free update for the iSense 2.0 app which mow features improved colour vibrancy, speeds up to three times faster than the previous version and enhanced auto-tracking and texture mapping. Users can now benefit form more enhanced 3D scan results from anywhere between 5 and 30 seconds.
The iSense 3D Scanner uses a scanning engine by Occipital for its capture technology together with the 3D Systems iSense software app for processing and editing the data.

3D scanning has proved one of the most popular consumer branches of 3D technology with the excitement surrounding full-body scanning and 3D printing. This portable version will allow users to scan objects wherever they are in a variety of sizes with ease and quality. The app also makes it simple to edit 3D files and prepare them for 3D printing.
iSense for iPhone is available to pre-order now on Cubify and is expected to start shipping on 7th July. The scanner will be available on Cubify and at BestBuy for $499.
