Aleph Objects has reported a successful two years for the growth of its open source 3D printing technology including a string of award nominations and an impressive 809% revenue growth.
Last month, the Loveland, Colorado based company reported its 2015 revenue had already surpassed that of the previous year with revenue surging from $523,706 in 2012 up to $4,761,390 in 2014. Following this tremendous achievement, the company is confidently on track for another year of strong growth in 2016.
All of this success has been recognised locally by four different award programmes including a Mercury 100 win as the Fastest Growing Company in Northern Colorado and a place in Made in Colorado’s Top 250 Manufacturers. The company was also a finalist in the Fort Collins Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year and was chosen as one of 50 companies in the Colorado Companies to Watch award from a selection of 1,200 applicants.

The company has been reaping the benefits of this success to expand the workforce at its headquarters in Loveland from just 17 employees to 84 in the past 18 months. The facility houses a cluster of 144 LulzBot 3D printers that are being used to 3D print parts for their own machines 24 hours a day, five days a week. The company recently celebrated a significant milestone as it counted the 500,000th 3D printer part to be printed on one of their machines.
