America Makes TCT
America Makes and The TCT Group have today announced a partnership that will see the two organizations collaborate to promote 3D Printing and Additive Manufacturing technologies, tackle their challenges and ultimately accelerate adoption on a global scale.
The partnership will see America Makes and The TCT Group share thought-leadership across the entirety of their respective conferencing, social and media platforms.
"The vision of America Makes is closely aligned with that of TCT," said Head of Content at The TCT Group, Daniel O'Connor. "The sharing of insight across two of the largest additive manufacturing communities on the globe will increase the awareness of technological capabilities and, in turn, accelerate their adoption."
“This partnership represents a unique opportunity to reach a global audience and share the innovative work underway by the America Makes membership community to advance additive technologies,” said NCDMM’s Executive Director of America Makes Rob Gorham. “We look forward to collaborating with the team at The TCT Group to fulfil our shared mission of advancing additive manufacturing technology development, adoption, and commercialization across a multitude of global industries.”
Since its inception by the National Center for Defense Manufacturing and Machining (NCDMM) in 2012, America Makes has been dedicated to solving the challenges additive manufacturing faces. Problems like qualification, standardization and the skills gap are tackled through America Makes' program of convening, coordination and catalyzing.
The partnership will highlight America Makes initiatives in the print and digital editions of TCT Magazine, and America Makes members will be afforded opportunities to demonstrate applications at TCT's global events portfolio.
