Global product development solutions provider, ARRK has announced its membership of the Composites UK association.
Following its recent success in gaining automotive quality accreditation ISO TS 16949 and aerospace quality standard AS9100 for the manufacture of composite panels, assemblies and metals for the aerospace market, the company sees its involvement as a natural fit to its future development.
Alan Smithers, General Manager at ARRK’s Nuneaton composite facility explained; “ARRK has ambitious plans for the future and developing our composite offering is a key part of our full line service to customers. As is demonstrated by our participation at this year’s JEC Europe show in Paris, our composite service starts from our design engineering expertise, tool design and production, right through to low volume, niche, composite part manufacture. In conjunction with our sister companies in Germany, France and the Far East our composite knowledge, industry expertise and technical knowhow, allows us to provide a wide range of composite solutions to our customers in the UK as well as across mainland Europe and beyond.
ARRK’s first involvement with Composites UK will commence at the Composites in the Automotive Industry Sector Showcase, at Warwick University, Coventry on 14th May 2015. The membership will allow the company to engage with the wider composites community and play a significant role in its growth plans.
Alan added; “We are impressed by Composites UK level of activity in promoting the industry and seeking out new business opportunities for its members. Taking its message abroad is also a key feature for us, as demonstrated by their own participation at JEC, and this makes us keen to be part of this proactive organisation to help ARRK broaden its horizons and business circles. ARRK has extensive experience in the Automotive and Aerospace sectors and has plans to increase its offering further into Rail, Marine, Leisure and Defence. We look forward to a successful partnership.”
