ARRK Europe
ARRK Europe, Product Development Specialists, continues to invest in its UK Technical Centres with the installation of two new Mazak CNC machines at the Nuneaton facility. The site speacialses in composites and precision engineering services for a wide range of clients from the automotive, rail, aerospace and medical industries.
Newly appointed General Manager at the Nuneaton site, Anthony O'Neil, and Operations Manager, Colin Parker, oversaw the installation of the new machines and consider the investment by the company in this area to be an important ingredient to delivering increased capacity and quality.
Anthony commented: ''The company has invested over a quarter of a million pounds in two new three axis high speed machining centres, a Mazak VTC 820/30 and a VTC - 200-B, providing ARRK with a 3 m and 1 m bed respectively.''
The new machines provide the business with improved flexibility and in-house capacity and will help support the growth in business the site is experiencing, particulary for composites. The Nuneaton centre now boasts thirteen CNC machines in total. This includes a Parpas Omnia 42 and an Edel Cyport 5030, both of which are large 5 axis gantry machines, along with 2 x DMG 5 Axis machines, 6 x Bridgeport and 1 x Boko 3 Axis machine.
The increase in CNC capability allows ARRK to offer clients the very best quality and service for composite, foundry, and blow moulding tools through to jigs, fixtures or precision engineering pruef cubes.
The upgrade in the Nuneaton site follows ARRK’s investment earlier this year in a new, million pound plus, 3200 Krauss Maffei injection mouding machine at its Tooling & Moulding Technical Centre in Petersfield.
