Dassault Systemes has announced the availability of Apriso 9.7, the first major product introduction since the company acquired Apriso Corporation last year.
The new application suite is set to bridge the gap between the virtual and real worlds of manufacturing and improve integration with Dassault Systemes digital manufacturing applications.
The Apriso 9.7 application suite delivers an improved business experience for users with closer, out of the box integration with other DELMIA Digital Manufacturing products.
The product portfolio will improve digital continuity on the shop floor and help Dassault Systemes customers to ensure engineering designed work instructions are properly executed. The result is a paperless flow from design to execution that accelerates the introduction of new products and improves transparency of manufacturing intelligence for engineers.
“The launch of Apriso 9.7 represents an important first step to becoming part of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform,” said John Fishell, DELMIA Product Management at Dassault Systèmes. “Apriso capabilities will be available by simply adding widgets to the platform, extending real-time visibility to manufacturing intelligence to engineers and other users of the platform.”
Examples of Aspiro 9.7’s workflow include manufacturing Bill of Materials (mBOM), routings and 3D work instructions. With integration into the 3DEXPERIENCE portal, presenting feedback from manufacturing to engineering, helps to improve production performance and validate virtual plans for a real, functional environment.
