AMFG
AMFG - MES software for Additive Manufacturing.
EOS and AMFG have announced a partnership which will allow users of the hardware vendor’s additive manufacturing platforms to better manage their production operations.
Integrating AMFG’s Manufacturing Execution System (MES), EOS users will now be able to fully connect and automate their additive manufacturing workflows, per the partners. They will also be able to prepare build jobs, implementing the required parameters, and then pulling the data directly to an EOS 3D printing system once the model has been sliced.
The AMFG MES software has been designed to enable additive manufacturers to streamline and scale their operations to meet demand as it rises. It also allows integration with a variety of existing ERP, PLM and CAD software from the likes of Siemens, Dassault Systèmes, SAP and Autodesk. AMFG already counts the likes of Paragon Rapid Technologies, Bowman Additive and 3T AM as users of its MES platform, all of whom also leverage powder bed fusion technologies.
As EOS moves to bring the benefits of machine connectivity and scalable operations to its users, it has also sought to align with AMFG.
“EOS has always been at the forefront of technological developments in additive manufacturing,” stated Mirco Schöpf, Product Line Manager Connectivity & Automation Software at EOS. “We strive to work with partners who share our vision of innovation for additive manufacturing. Our collaboration with AMFG will help our customers continue to unlock the full benefits of our technologies.”
“EOS is a global leader when it comes to 3D printing technologies and we’re thrilled to collaborate with such an esteemed partner,” added Keyvan Karimi, CEO of AMFG. “Our partnership not only makes machine control a reality, but it is also a major step towards establishing AM operations that are automated and scalable.”
EOS and AMFG will both be exhibiting at next week’s Formnext trade show in Frankfurt, the former in Hall 11.1 Stand D31 and the latter in Hall 12.1 Stand G81.
