One of the biggest launches at formnext powered by tct last week was EOS’s new EOS P 500 production system, designed for automated mass production of polymer parts. During the unveiling, the German additive manufacturing (AM) leader talked about the importance of partnerships in growing the AM ecosystem which it has expanded this week with AM post-processing solutions provider, DyeMansion.
Building on an existing partnership first formed in 2015, the collaboration will combine EOS and DyeMansion’s complementary polymer portfolios to provide full production chains for high-value consumer and industrial products.

Two years after it was crowned the winner of the formnext Start-Up Challenge, DyeMansion was back at formnext last week to premiere its three-stage ‘Print-to-Product’ workflow for de-powdering, surfacing and colouring. As a first step in the partnership, EOS is showing and using the complete DyeMansion ‘Print-to-Product’ workflow equipment at their headquarters in Krailling, Germany to give customers an understanding of the workflow in delivering AM products in colour, within hours.
