Kreon Baces Arm
Europac made a huge impact at this year’s TCT Show making industry history by launching the biggest and newest range of measuring arms ever seen in the country.
Focused on bringing affordable 3D inspection equipment to the market, the company unveiled four new pieces of equipment aimed at bringing accessible high quality arms to small companies and organisations.
John Beckett, Managing Director for Europac, said: “We’ve decided that it’s time the small engineering workshops get the chance to buy good quality metrology equipment at a price they can afford.”
Introducing four new arms with higher accuracy and cheaper price tag than it’s competitors, Europac revealed the all black, 2.6 metre Kreon Baces M200-6 axes, M200-7 axes and from the Ace brand, arms with blue line laser. The advantage of blue line laser is that it can be used to scan any shiny component without losing any accuracy. The premium arm from this range is the Kreon Zephyr Blue laser which is the most accurate laser in the market place and can scan at a million points per second. All of these devices are competitively low in price without sacrificing any accuracy.

“That’s the impression we’re trying to give quality with really affordable prices at one end and the top end as higher accuracy and better lasers than anybody else has got,” says John.
One of the key talking points at this year’s show was the idea of open source software and equipment being the way forward for the 3D industry. Europac has responded to this demand with a range of lasers that can be fitted to any existing arm on the marketplace, making it much easier and cheaper for small organisations to stay up to date with the latest and most accurate equipment.
“You can retrofit it to any other arm in the marketplace,” explains John. “The joint connection will go to any of the other manufacturers in the country so then small engineering companies, universities, training schools now have something to get themselves upgraded.”
