3D scanning technology leader extends reach into education through partnership with Douglas Stewart.
Leading 3D capture and imaging company Fuel3D, has today announced that its SCANIFY handheld 3D scanner will be distributed to the education market via a new partnership with The Douglas Stewart Company.
As a leading distributor of products serving the education market, Douglas Stewart will provide SCANIFY through its network of more than 4,500 academic resellers in the United States and Canada and to over 37 countries in Europe as Douglas Stewart EDU.
SCANIFY is a handheld 3D scanner, designed to rapidly capture high-resolution, colour 3D models of objects. Its simple point-and-shoot capture method means it can be used by students of all ages for a variety of activities. SCANIFY can help schools make the 3D printing process even more interactive and exciting, enabling users to capture the object they want, with exact replications of original shapes and textures.
