MyMiniFactory
Just weeks after the store launch that got everybody in 3D printing talking, iMakr is at it again.
The company - which opened the world's largest dedicated 3D printing shop in Farringdon at the end of April - has set up MyMiniFactory.com.
MyMiniFactory is a new platform that allows users to download free 3D printable objects, upload their own designs to sell on and request their own objects.
The program was built by dedicated modellers and designers, who used their extensive experience in animated films, video gaming, fashion, architecture and jewellery to create original designs.
All the designs have been printed by this team of MyMiniFactory professionals, ensuring users can print these files for free and with no fuss.
MyMiniFactory is set to go live on June 18th and is supported by iMakr.vc, the venture capital fund behind the now famous iMakr Store.
Chief Executive Officer at iMakr Sylvain Preumont commented: "MyMiniFactory aims at becoming the YouTube of 3D files. MyMiniFactory shortens the chain between designers and consumers. That's probably where the third industrial revolution really starts."
