Kanfit 3D, a manufacturer harnessing metal 3D printing technologies, has achieved ISO certifications relating to its quality management services.
The Israeli firm offers a manufacturing service aimed at clients in such industries as aerospace, medical and dental. It sees the company utilise an EOS M 290 machine to manufacture serial components, spare parts and functional prototypes in titanium (Ti-64) metal.
Today, the company announces that it has achieved ISO 13485:2016 certification, the international standard for quality management systems specifically for manufacturers and suppliers, and ISO9001:2015 certification, which ensures that services and products meet the needs of all clients through an effective Quality Management System.
The two certifications validate Kanfit 3D’s implementation of stringent industry standards which work to ensure safety and reliability of the company’s products and services, as well as the required risk management procedures. In a bid to expand its product offerings and take advantage of market opportunities, Kanfit 3D is also looking to add aluminium materials to its repertoire, which, in the near future, will be bolstered by two new machines.
Kanfit 3D is a sister company to Kanfit Ltd, a manufacturing firm established in 1986. It was established itself in 2016, and by leveraging metal 3D printing, is delivering serial components, spare parts, and prototypes to clients operating in demanding industries. The certification achievements serve to endorse the company’s operations, something Kanfit 3D is gratified to receive.
“We are very proud of this first-time achievement,” said Samuel Rosenbaum, General Manager of Kanfit 3D. “As a young company, earning both ISO certifications is a great accomplishment. It shows our commitment to deliver the highest level of regulatory compliance and quality products to our customers in all industries.”
