Materialise has announced the launch of its latest custom 3D printing build processor, Structo PrintWorks, for Singapore-based 3D printer manufacturer, Structo Pte. Ltd..
Structo manufactures industrial-grade 3D printers, which use a unique Liquid Crystal Dynamic Mask Stereolithography (MSLA) technology to print parts quickly. Structo's portfolio includes three machines; the all-round high-capacity RapidForm, the dental-focused OrthoForm and the versatile OmniForm printer. As a result of the partnership with the Belgian 3D printing leader, all of these machines are now equipped with customised, Materialise software to simplify the 3D printing process.
Structo first partnered with Materialise back in November as a Materialise Integration Partner in order to boost efficiency and reduce lead times. As a result, the new Structo PrintWorks software allows users to edit and analyse files easily and intuitively. The advanced support generation is fully automated. Users can apply different build strategies depending on the geometry of the part, and rely on Materialise's slicing software.
In addition to the Structo PrintWorks software, Structo printers can be upgraded with Materialise's data preparation software Magics, the latest version of which was launched at formnext powered by tct back in November. This means that users have access to advanced repair, editing and support generation tools to prepare their designs quickly and accurately for 3D printing.
