Dyemansion has announced the appointment of Matsuura Machinery as a reseller of its post-processing systems throughout the UK.
The company’s hardware combines as a three-stage print-to-product workflow to clean, finish and colour parts additively manufactured with powder bed fusion technologies, supplied by the likes of HP, EOS, 3D Systems, VoxelJet, Farsoon, Prodways, and more.
Matsuura will house Dyemansion’s Powershot C, Powershot S and DM60 machines alongside a HP Multi Jet Fusion 4200 system at its site in Leicestershire. Here, the company will offer consulting, testing and benchmarking services to those interested in bringing a complete additive manufacturing process chain in house.
“Our association with Dyemansion completes our technical offer to the UK market in 3D printing – in a variety of shapes and sizes and now any colour, making us the one stop applications and products specialist for companies investing in UK plastics additive manufacturing,” commented Roger Howkins, Managing Director at Matsuura Machinery.
“We are glad to welcome Matsuura to our 3D family,” added Greg Gracki, Sales Partner Manager, Dyemansion. “Supplying them not only with all our systems, but also with the appropriate training and knowledge, we are sure that they will be able to revolutionise the UK’s industrial market with their 3D offer.”
Using Dyemansion’s technology, laser sintered parts are cleaned in the Powershot C in a process that takes around ten minutes, before moving onto the Powershot S to be surface finished to leave a smooth and scratch-resistant finished product. The final step is the colouring in the DM60, which now boasts over 170 RAL colours. Dyemansion is set to enhance its surfacing offering with the launch of a vapour polishing system which will act as an alternative to the Powershot S during the second step of the print-to-product workflow.
