DragonFly 2020 Pro
EDA Technologies will look to promote the adoption of the DragonFly 2020 Pro throughout South Africa.
Nano Dimension has announced a reseller agreement with EDA Technologies, which will see its DragonFly 2020 Pro 3D printing system made available in South Africa.
EDA Technologies offers a ‘concept to complete’ service, developing professional turnkey products for industrial players since 1997. The company will now look to promote the adoption of Nano Dimension’s 3D printing technology, and will also purchase and install its own DragonFly 2020 Pro platform, which will be used for demonstrations and training purposes.
The partnership represents the latest addition to Nano Dimension’s global reseller network, which includes partners in the United States, Canada, and Germany, among other countries. EDA Technologies is a renowned service provider of more than 20 years’ experience in the field of Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) and electronics. It stands EDA in good stead as it prepares to introduce a new technology to the South African market, and provide a local support service to new customers.
“There is a clear and growing demand for 3D printing solutions for emerging technologies such as wearable electronics, embedded RFID, and electromagnetics. Nano Dimension’s award-winning DragonFly 2020 Pro allows us to offer our customers the latest innovations and methodologies on the planet, in order to enhance their product offerings,” commented Nechan Naicker, Director and Founder of EDA Technologies. “We’re confident that the DragonFly 2020 Pro will be a transformational addition to our portfolio of services. Together with Nano Dimension, we will help our customers to fully utilise the latest world-class additive manufacturing technology in their products, while also drastically shortening time to market in the highly competitive marketplace.”
The DragonFly 2020 Pro was brought to market to enable companies to rapid prototype multilayer PCBs and 3D circuitry. It combines advanced inkjet printing, 3D printing and nano ink technology to output high resolution PCB prototypes within hours, rather than weeks. Nano Dimension wants to make a global impact with its DragonFly platform and so is aligning itself with companies that can help it achieve this goal.
“EDA Technologies has a wealth of PCB knowledge and hands-on experience. We welcome them to our global network,” said Amit Dror, CEO of Nano Dimension. “As our dedicated reseller in South Africa they will provide customer demonstration services with a DragonFly 2020 Pro 3D printer that they purchase and operate. By combining our knowledge of additive manufacturing EDA Technologies’ excellent customer support capabilities and infrastructure, we are ideally positioned to expand our solutions’ availability through sales and our recently opened on-demand service for 3D printing of smart products with the DragonFly 2020 Pro 3D printer.”
