Large-format 3D printing on the Raise3D N2-Plus
Following a successful Kickstarter campaign at the end of last year for its N-series 3D printer range – backed by 348 ‘Raisers’ – Raise3D has brought it’s latest machines, the N2 and N2 Plus to the TCT Asia + Personalize show floor.
Bringing bold ambitions to be “the best large-format FDM 3D printing company’ in 2016” as Michael Huang at Raise3D tells TCT, the company’s newest products are aimed at professional 3D printing users looking to create high-quality, large-scale prints.
The N2 Plus is the biggest of the bunch and features a build volume of 12 x 12 x 24 inches and a print resolution up to 0.01 microns. The machine is capable of printing in two materials including PLA, ABS, HIPS, bronze-filled and wood-filled and can do so at a rate between 10-150 mm per second depending on the resolution.
Raise3D are showing an impressive selection of large-scale and mixed material prints on the stand, the stand-out piece being a huge spaceman that was printed and assembled from 30 separate pieces on the N2 Plus.
The company fulfilled all of its Kickstarter orders last month and is now working on ramping up the production and marketing on this latest range for the wider public.
Visitors to TCT Asia (10-12 March) can find out more about the N-series on stand G46 at the Shanghai Convention & Exhibition Center of International Sourcing.
