ReaLizer SLM125
As is to be expected from Europe’s leading mouldmaking and tooling event, EuroMold 2014 was jam packed with product launches and brand new machines. Joining the wave of fresh 3D printing systems was additive manufacturing pioneer ReaLizer who chose the floor at EuroMold to debut its brand new ReaLizer SLM 125 machine.
The industrial machine offers a build volume of 125mm x 125mm x 200mm and a build speed of 5 to 20ccm per hour. The SLM 125 can print in a range of high-end materials including CoCr., 316L and Titanium alloys.
Measuring 1600mm x 1550mm x 800mm, the large scale selective laser melting machine includes an integrated powder and sieving unit and functions using a 400 Watt laser for the production of parts in metallic materials.
The company recently announced record sales for the third financial quarter of 2014. Sales of the company’s popular SLM50 and SLM100 machines have contributed significantly to the increase which is believed to be around 19 per cent.
Available to customers in May 2015, the SLM 125 will cost around €250,000.
