Renishaw's Chinese Headquarter's building in Shanghai.
Renishaw has announced the opening of its new Chinese headquarters in Shanghai. The state of the art facility is located in the rapidly developing Shibei High Tech Park in the Zhabei District.
With a current total of 11 offices across China, the expansion enhances the company’s reach into one of its biggest markets for its world leading engineering technologies which also include Germany, Japan and the USA.
The new building covers over 3,200 square metres, allowing Renishaw to expand its warehouse and logistics facilities and also improve customer service support by increasing the size of its current service centre.
A new demonstration facility has also been implemented to offer technical support to OEM customers, distributors and end-users for the entire range of Renishaw metrology products, Raman spectroscopy systems and metal 3D printing systems.
Paul Gallagher, Managing Director at Renishaw (Shanghai), said, “Renishaw has been strongly committed to the Chinese market ever since we opened our first office in Beijing in 1994. Our investment in this fast-growing country has been further strengthened by the expansion into this new facility. We look forward to many more years of strategic growth and to continuing to build a strong business in Mainland China.”
