Stratasys Asia Pacific, a regional subsidiary of Stratasys has announced the appointment of Lucy Zhai as General Manager of Stratasys Greater China to oversee the promotion of Stratasys’ 3D printing operations across the region.
Lucy joins the Stratasys Asia Pacific team at TCT Asia + Personalize 2016 taking place this week in Shanghai where she will be joined by Omer Krieger, General Manager of Stratasys Asia Pacific and Japan, to address the latest 3D printing trends for the region.
Lucy brings several years experience at different leading multinational companies, including General Electronics (GE) and Novelis and in her new role will help lead the global 3D printing company’s strategy to promote 3D printing solutions to the China market.
At last year’s TCT Asia, Omer spoke to TCT about China’s position as the fastest growing region for additive technologies. This has been supported by the company’s expanding presence in the Asia market with several offices setup throughout the region and positive predictions that estimate the market worth at around $1.6 billion by the end of this year.
"Lucy brings over 20 years of experience in go-to-market strategies, account management, and channel development to the Stratasys family," Omer Krieger, General Manager of Stratasys Asia Pacific & Japan, explained. "With Lucy's leadership and understanding of the local market dynamics of industries such as machineries, electronics, and medical, I am confident that she will lead the Greater China team to new heights as we build upon our existing strength in rapid prototyping and expand on direct digital manufacturing applications in these verticals."
