SYNNEX Corporation, a leading technology distributor, has reached an agreement with HP to become the exclusive North American distributor of the Jet Fusion 3D printer.
This comes just days after HP made a series of announcements from RAPID+TCT, much of which concerned the Jet Fusion line and its adoption and application in North America. SYNNEX, who has a 20-year-long relationship with HP, will now be the go-to source in the United States and Canada for HP’s 3D printing technology.
“SYNNEX has seen opportunities across multiple sectors as 3D redefines the way companies do business,” said Peter Larocque, President, North American Distribution, SYNNEX Corporation. “We are pleased to offer HP’s Jet Fusion 3D solution, along with the accessories and solutions needed for success in this fast-growing market.”
Alex Monino, Director of Worldwide Marketing and Sales Strategy for 3D Printing, HP, added: “We look forward to working with SYNNEX aa the distributor of HP Multi Jet Fusion technology in the US and Canada to scale the HP 3D printing business. SYNNEX is an experienced and reliable partner that will help HP drive the digital reinvention of manufacturing and, most importantly, provide customers with exceptional service and the market’s leading technology for advanced 3D applications.”
HP’s Multi Jet Fusion 3D printer enables fast and cost-effective production for professionals. Additionally, HP’s Open Platform approach, another aspect of the company’s 3D printing commitment addressed in the RAPID+TCT announcements, is promoting the widespread adoption of 3D printing technology. The Open Materials and Applications Lab aims to expand the availability of new materials, lower costs, drive performance enhancements, and create new possibilities for part properties.
Among HP’s announcements earlier this week at RAPID+TCT, was Henkel becoming the latest member of the Open Materials and Applications Lab, joining the likes of BASF and Arkema. This followed the official unveiling of the HP Partner First 3D Printing Specialisation programme, which already has 30 hand-selected partners, and the launch of more than a dozen HP 3D Printing Reference and Experience Centres in North America and Europe.
HP is presenting its Jet Fusion 3D printing technology from Booth #2517 at RAPID+TCT for the duration of the event.
