To quote Dan's post TCT Show blog: 'It is easy to forget that amongst the hype of this technology we’re all here to do business and the people who do business come to TCT Show.' That's true of two companies in particular with a collective history of 50 years experience in the additive manufacturing industry.
G. P. Tromans Associates, a UK consultancy, and T. A. Grimm & Associates, a US consultancy, today announced a strategic alliance that will expand both companies’ services in the additive manufacturing, 3D printing and rapid prototyping industry. The alliance was formalised at the 19th annual TCT Show that both companies have supported for many years.
G. P. Tromans is headed by Graham Tromans, who has 26 years of experience in the industry. T. A. Grimm is headed by Todd Grimm an industry veteran with 24 years of experience. Combined, their backgrounds span machine operations, machine evaluations and selections, application development and business operations.
Graham Tromans said, “Todd and I have collaborated and shared insights for more than six years. Over the past few months, it became clear that a strategic alliance was a natural progression that would benefit both of our companies, and more importantly, our clients.”
Todd Grimm said, “With the alliance, our companies can deliver consulting, research, communications and public speaking services from UK and US hubs with a breadth that spans technical knowledge, application experience and business acumen.”
Combined, the companies have delivered over 70 presentations in 8 countries, spanning North America, Europe and Asia, during 2014, and they act as advisors for SME, RAPID, TCT, Additive Manufacturing Users Group, 3D Printing Association and World 3D Printing Technology Industry Alliance.
