ebalta UK has announced the addition of TC460 to their extensive range of epoxy tooling boards. TC460 is purple in colour and is positioned within the range as an ultra-high temperature board. The new tooling block has been developed and introduced to the market to meet customer requirements for more demanding temperature applications in the automotive, aerospace and composite sectors.
TC460 has a density of 0.74 g/cm3 and a shore D of 78. It offers an ultra-high heat deflection temperature (HDT) of 232 ?C coupled with a low coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) and excellent dimensional stability.
High temperature adhesive LH30 is also available from ebalta for use with TC460.
The new premium epoxy board has been successfully market tested across Europe over the last six months for the manufacture of precision patterns and tools for specialist automotive and aerospace applications where high temperature carbon fibre prepreg is required to produce high end application composite parts.
TC460 is held in stock in sizes 60 x 24 x 2”, 4” and 6” boards and is available for next day delivery within the UK market.
