The SLASH OL will be one of five new 3D printers from UNIZ at CES 2018.
Stereolithography 3D printer manufacturer, UNIZ is to launch five new machines and a new 3D printing technology at CES 2018.
Following the debut of its speedy, Kickstarter-funded, SLASH, LCD-SLA 3D Printer at CES 2016, the San Diego headquartered company will introduce its new uni-directional peel (UDP) technology at the Las Vegas event on January 9th.
UNIZ will debut three desktop 3D printers and two industrial 3D printers featuring this new process including the SLASH+, SLASH OL, SLASH PRO, zSLTV15 and zSLTV23, on booth #9110 in the North Hall.
SLASH+ builds on the success of the original SLASH machine aimed at prosumers, hobbyists, educators and artists. Equipped with uni-directional peel (UDP) technology, which minimises the peel time of conventional layered SLA process, it is capable of creating six full-arch dental models in less than five minutes.
The SLASH OL - or SLASH Online - is aimed at the lower end of the market, priced below $1,000 and equipped with the same UDP technology. The printer offers an XY resolution up to 150um and claims to be around 500 times faster than similarly priced FDM machines.
Designed for bigger parts in a desktop capacity, the SLASH PRO features double the build volume of the SLASH z-axis and is capable of producing a full size adult outer-sole in under an hour.
The zSLTV is one of two new industrial 3D printers from UNIZ.
For its industrial offering, the zSLTV15 uses the same revolutionary LCD photo curing 3D process as the SLASH, is equipped with UDP and aimed at professional and industrial users. This system features a 89um XY resolution, 330 x 190 x 410mm build envelope and even faster print speeds allowing for 20 full-arch dental models to be printed in less than five minutes.
Finally, the zSLTV23 features an even bigger build volume at 521 x 293 x 650mm and with increased printing speed up to 7,000 cc/hr solid and 56000cc/hr envelope speed, claims to be the fastest SLA 3D printer to date.
Commenting in a press release, the company said: “With the release of the UDP technology, SLASH+/OL/PRO, and zSLTV15 and zSLTV23, 3D printing will never be the same. The suite of UNIZ 3D printer solutions sets new benchmarks for speed, quality and price for consumers and professionals alike.”
Attendees to CES 2018 can see the new systems on booth #9110 in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Centre on 9-12th January.
