Titan Gilroy CEO
Stratasys and Stratasys reseller GoEngineer, feature as part of a new US television series that takes a unique and personal approach to the world of manufacturing.
Titan American Built follows machine shop owner Titan Gilroy on his mission to put American manufacturing back on top of the world.
An expert in CNC machinery and now a manufacturing entrepreneur, Gilroy opened his own machine shop, Titan American MFG 10 years ago. The first episode of the series shows the team using Stratasys 3D printing technology on a Fortus 250mc 3D Printer for the very first time.
Gilroy says: "Instead of waiting two weeks for final product, we can design and create a prototype in just one day with this 3D printer, it has taken our shop to a higher level of efficiency and precision."
The show will demonstrate how American manufacturing can compete in a global market by using contemporary technology like 3D printing to revolutionise and complement traditional manufacturing methods.
"3D printing is changing the way the world is manufacturing and we are thrilled to partner with Titan Gilroy and show America what is possible when incorporating 3D printing into your overall manufacturing process," states Gilad Gans, president, Stratasys North America.
GoEngineer, a reseller of Stratasys 3D Printers, is co-sponsoring TITAN American Built. Ken Coburn, president and founder of GoEngineer, said: "Gilroy recognizes that leveraging new technologies like 3D printing in the right circumstances can help companies gain back the competitive edge needed to help them compete in a constantly changing global economy," explained Coburn.
Titan American Built airs in the US on MAVTV.
