MecSoft Europe GmbH, distributor of CAD/CAM software in Europe, has announced the availability of VisualMILL 2012 for SolidWorks, a major version upgrade to its current VisualMILL 6.0 for SolidWorks product.
In addition to over hundreds of enhancements and improvements to the existing product, VisualMILL 2012 for SolidWorks features a new 5 axis continuous milling module, powerful new toolpath generation methods along with processing and productivity improvements.

VisualMILL 2012 for SolidWorks is a 3D solid/surface milling package that allows users to generate 2 ½ axis, 3 axis, 4 axis, and 5 axis tool paths for CNC machining for their SolidWorks 3D models - without having to leave the SolidWorks environment. Some operations include continuous roughing, continuous finishing, facing, pocketing, profiling and engraving, as well as surface/ solids/ meshes based machining such as roughing, finishing, and curve projection machining.
