Simon Shen, Chairman of XYZprinting launches da Vinci AiO.
XYZprinting has officially launched the world’s first all-in-one personal 3D printer, da Vinci 1.0 AiO, to the Mainland China market.
Building on 15 years of experience by its parent company New Kinpo Group, XYZprinting is launching into the 3D printing market with a series of da Vinci 3D printers.
As the world’s first mass-produced affordable desktop 3D scanner and printer, da Vinci 1.0 AiO users can control 3D scanning, editing and printing on just one machine. The proprietary dual head laser scanning platform enables 360-degree scan in under five minutes, providing a real time preview of the object's scan. Patented smart-fix visual image adjustment software can then automatically correct the scanning document and enable easy correction of the surface’s smoothness before sending for print. To enhance the user’s 3D printing experience, the printer is equipped with active detection of consumables’ stock, to allow the user to monitor printing information at all times.
da Vinci 1.0 AiO 3D printer launched in China.
Recently, da Vinci 1.0 AiO won the Envisioneering Show Stoppers Award at the IFA Consumer Electronics Fair 2014, making XYZprinting the first winner from Taiwan. This demonstrates XYZprinting’s world-class capabilities in research, development and manufacturing and provides a solid foundation for its entry into the European market for 3D printing.
“Although the United States remains as XYZprinting’s biggest market globally, excellent business prospects for 3D printing in Mainland China has meant rapid business growth for us," explains Simon Shen, Chairman of XYZprinting. "This is particularly so in the areas of engineering, design, education and creative works. Therefore, XYZprinting has initiated a series of strategic partnerships and communication activities in Mainland China, including collaboration with universities and colleges, the parent-child summer camp featuring 3D printing and global design competition etc. By those means, we target to popularise 3D printing technology and equipment and help spur development in education in Mainland China as well as encourage designers to seek innovation. We will strive to be a foremost 3D printer brand in 2015.”
da Vinci 1.0 AiO is now available in Mainland China at RMB 8,999 per unit.
