ZW3D, a supplier of CAD/ CAM products for manufacturers, has announced the release of its latest product development software.

Featuring an enhanced performance and a user-friendly interface, ZW3D 2018 has been made available globally.

ZW3D says the software platform offers excellent data translation capabilities, eliminating the time-consuming need for data to be translated between software programs, a process which can cause errors to occur. Meanwhile, features such as assembly design, 3D annotation, sheet metal design, and advanced FTI, provide more flexibility and address the needs of many different disciplines, per ZW3D.

With this added flexibility, and the easy-to-use nature of the software, ZW3D believes design ideas can be fleshed out quicker, and products brought to market earlier. Its Solid-Surface Hybrid Modelling technology serves to strengthen the software’s capabilities, speeding up the product development cycle. The ZW3D 2018 software is supported by MISUMI, a 3D CAD library consisting of standard press die and plastic mould components. This allows the user to locate and select parts from a library of more than 10,000 files.

Though a global product, ZW3D is offering a Buy Two Get One Free deal for the ZW3D 2018 software to UK customers. Until March 30^th, 2018, the a 20% discount is implemented on any new license, a 50% discount is added for a second license, and for a third the customer will receive a 100% discount. The company will also be paying the UK a visit this summer, exhibiting at the Subcon Engineering Show 2018, between June 5^th and June 7^th at the NEC, Birmingham.
