Questions for your Extrude Hone AFM evaluation
Do your parts have internal channels, passages, or features that require surface improvement? AFM is one of the few technologies capable of finishing internal geometries that are inaccessible to mechanical or manual finishing methods.
What surface roughness improvement do you need? AFM can improve roughness by up to 10ร, but the achievable finish depends on starting roughness, geometry, material, and process parameters. Request application-specific test results before committing.
What is your production volume? The MICROFLOW suits precision work on small features; the VECTOR handles medium-volume production; the SPECTRUM is designed for large parts and high throughput. Matching the machine to your volume and part size is critical for economics.
