The Master of Engineering in Additive Manufacturing and Design (AMD) degree program offers graduate students the analytical and practical skills required to digitally design, develop, engineer, analyse, numerically model, optimise, fabricate, and inspect new components and subassemblies using appropriate additive manufacturing and digital design technologies.
All AMD students will be required to enrol in five core courses that cover additive manufacturing processes, materials for additive manufacturing, the engineering and scientific foundations of additive manufacturing, design for additive manufacturing, and a hands-on laboratory experience in additive manufacturing.
Students can complete the course online via Penn State World Campus.
