In a recent skills mapping project, the National Centre for Additive Manufacturing within the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) identified 147 subjects applicable to nine occupational curricula for additive manufacturing (AM).
All courses have been designed in a selection of delivery methods, to meet your training needs irrespective of location and schedule.
Face-to-face courses are hands-on classes held at the home of the NCAM, delivered by our the centre's engineering team.
Virtual classrooms are delivered online, live from the NCAM, delivered by its AM Engineering team.
eLearning module content is designed in-house by the team at the NCAM to allow students to learn at their own pace and schedule.

- Practical Insight into AM (Available for various AM processes)
- Guidelines for Business Justification for AM adoption for an application
- Best practice in AM process selection
- Design for Additive Manufacture
- Design Rules (various technologies covered in individual subjects)
- Material Characterisation - Metal Powders/Polymer Powders
