RepRap Hub 2013
TCT Show + Personalize, the UK's leading additive manufacturing, 3D printing and product development technology show, welcomes the return of the RepRap Hub this autumn.
TCT Show has a reputation for promoting the very latest in 3D design and manufacturing technology and runs for three days from September 30th to October 2nd at the NEC, Birmingham, UK. This year's bigger and better RepRap Hub gives the 3D printing maker community a fantastic platform, with expanded exhibition space, a dedicated meeting zone and a presentation area at the heart of the buzzing show floor, reflecting the importance of this side of the 3D printing industry.
TCT remains committed to its promise to reach 3D printing users from "hackerspace to aerospace" and organisers are building on last year's success with new features including a Startup Zone, a place for entrepreneurs to showcase their business amongst the heavyweights of 3D printing and additive manufacturing, adjacent to the RepRap Hub. This thriving part of the show floor will complement the TCT Bright Minds 2014 3D printing classroom, a partnership between TCT, Black Country Atelier and 3D Systems that aims to give 500 schoolchildren hands-on access to 3D printing.
Once again, RepRap stalwart Richard Horne will be overseeing the RepRap Hub and will be manning the RepRap booth.
Horne commented: "The RepRap community is delighted to be back at TCT for a second year. This time the community has an increased and coordinated space for Makers and RepRap developers. It’s also very welcome to see a fully dedicated RepRap presentation zone this year. This will allow community and consumer discussions and debate about the current and future directions of the technology and materials for 3D printing."
He added: "There is always something new and exciting to see from iconic and innovative companies to established global giants exhibiting together to make this the very best, world-leading 3D printing conference."
James Woodcock, Group Editor and Conference Director, TCT + Personalize, said, "We are delighted to be able to welcome the RepRap community back to this year's show. The zone was extremely busy last year and this is at the root of the expansion for 2014. We are excited that the community want to play a part in the leading dedicated 3D printing event on the planet and we look forward to their contribution."
TCT Show + Personalize 2014 takes place at the NEC, Birmingham, UK on September 30th-October 2nd 2014.
