TCT Show Bigger and Better
Start Up Zone & TCT Introducing programme supports fresh 3D printing talent.
TCT Show + Personalize will give the freshest talent a platform alongside the giants of the 3D printing industry this month in the event’s dedicated Start Up Zone and TCT Introducing seminar programme.
As a new feature for the largest global 3D printing, additive manufacturing and product development technology trade fair, TCT’s Start Up Zone offers young companies and entrepreneurs the enviable chance to exhibit next to their industry heroes affordably, ensuring no 3D printing venture - big or small - misses out on being a part of the buzzing show floor. Look out for Tethon 3D, Delta-Trix, 3Distributed, Genius Inspirata, Layer Labz, 3Dom Filaments, Fillamentum, Omni Dynamics, Iconic Engineering Solutions and akemake as they make their TCT Show debut. The Start Up Zone forms an important part of TCT’s remit to help grow the industry by helping new companies to flourish. TCT Show promotes and supports 3D printing in education with its Bright Minds UK 3D printing classroom in association with Black Country Atelier and 3D Systems, while the comprehensive seminars and presentations - all of which are free to attend – touch upon every facet of 3D technology.
In conjunction with the Start Up Zone, TCT Show presents TCT Introducing, a carefully crafted seminar programme for businesses across the 3D printing spectrum making their TCT Show debut. These presentations will shine the spotlight on new technologies, concepts and individuals, while delivering the background information and knowhow needed for visitors to establish their own business in the burgeoning additive manufacturing sector. Among those taking to the TCT Introducing stage will be representatives from MarkForged, Efesto, CEL Technology and the internationally-renowned 3D Hubs, which will be hosting a UK Maker Meetup at TCT Show.
This is the 19th edition of the TCT Show and organisers Rapid News Communications anticipate 200 exhibitors and some 10,000 visitors to come through the doors of the NEC, Birmingham, UK, to experience everything about 3D printing.
Duncan Wood, Event Director and Chief Operating Officer, said: “Since 1992 the TCT team has immersed itself in the 3D printing industry. As part of our mission to support and grow the industry we must enable new companies to flourish. We have no barriers to entry for visitors, we’ve now removed them for new companies to exhibit. Initiatives such as the Start Up Zone and TCT Introducing really help to grow the industry we’re so proud to be part of. We’re in a golden age for 3D printing and the companies and individuals you will see for the first time at TCT Show are a major part of that.”
